R W Freight Services handles import freight movements from destinations across the World for its customers.

Many companies are becoming importers for the first time as economic factors make the sourcing of goods and components from places like China and the Far East an increasingly attractive option.

It is important that particularly where long distances are involved [Known in the trade as Deep Sea (Seafreight) or Long Haul (Airfreight)] a knowledgeable Freight Forwarder is consulted at an early stage so the most relevant route and service can be chosen and specified to the overseas supplier.

Peter has spent his entire working life in the freight forwarding industry during which he has acquired a wealth of experience and knowledge, which he brings to bear in his role as Operations Director of R W Freight Services Ltd.

Peter began his working career as an apprentice with International Express Co Ltd. where he studied for, and achieved Graduate Membership of the Institute of Freight Forwarders, alongside his daily Freight Forwarding duties.

Peter assumed joint ownership of R W Freight Services Ltd with his brother in the 1990s, and personally supervises day to day freight operations.
