Hand Held Products, a leader in image-based data collection systems, announces the launch of the 6300 DPM Reader and 6320 Cordless DPM Reader for the emerging direct part mark (DPM) identification market.
Both devices are powered by Adaptus™ Imaging Technology 5.0 scanning technology and provide high performance DPM reading for customers in the automotive, aerospace, electronics, healthcare, and defense industries who require uncompromising data accuracy in their part traceability, authenticity and supply chain management processes.

For the development of the new devices, Hand Held Products teamed with Cognex Corporation (NASDAQ - CGNX), the global leader in machine vision technology.

The 6300 supports USB, keyboard wedge and RS232 communications, while the 6320 features Bluetooth v1.2 wireless connectivity. Both have an impact resistant housing designed to withstand up to 50 drops to concrete from 2 meters.
