When Sita, one of Holland’s leading waste-disposal companies was asked to provide a specialist service for one of their biggest customers, they chose a specialist machine to do the job.
Sita, based in Arnhem and part of an international group employing nearly 50,000 people and operating 1,200 vehicles, was unable to offer a disposal service using conventional resources to collect 1,000-litre containers from just one customer.

The MOFFETT-KOOI, which arrives at the customers’ site on the back of the waste vehicle, is dismounted in less than a minute by a Sita operator who is able to collect the containers at a precise location and quickly load them on to the truck for disposal. Replacement containers can be offloaded just as quickly and efficiently.
The M4 model, which is also capable of handling difficult terrains and loads in excess of 2-tonnes, has ensured that Sita can provide the specialist service that its major customer needs. ”Without it, we have found it impossible to meet the customer’s expectations”, they claim.
