Innovation on the Basis of Tradition
MAN TAKRAF is a company of the MAN Group, integrated into the subgroup of MAN Ferrostaal AG. With headquarters in Leipzig and brand-new, state-of-the-art production facilities the company was established in 1994 by merger of the mining and materials handling division of MAN with the East German TAKRAF Lauchhammer GmbH. The roots of the company can be traced back to 1725.
The range of our supplies and services expands from development, planning, engineering, fabrication, supply, erection, commissioning up to technical assistance and service for plants and systems, especially in the field of surface mining equipment, bulk materials handling equipment and heavy duty special cranes.
Bulk Materials Handling
Our products include: bulk materials handling systems for ports, power stations and the metallurgical industry, coal handling systems, coal feeding and ash removal systems, conveyor systems, stackers, reclaimers, combined stacker/reclaimers, bridge type reclaimers, scraper reclaimers, blending and reclaiming equipment, ship loaders, ship unloaders, pneumatic shipunloaders and tube conveyors.
Special Cranes
We supply also heavy duty special cranes like ladle cranes, charging cranes, scrap handling cranes and billet handling cranes for the metallurgical industry, gantry cranes, goliath cranes and slewing cranes for shipyards, level luffing cranes, DLLC and container handling cranes for ports and railway, as well as floating and offshore cranes.
